About The Position

The Process Technical Leader for Adult & Feminine Care (AFC) at Kimberly-Clark serves as a key technical authority within the Supply Chain, focusing on process optimization for products such as Pants, Tampons, Pads, and Liners. This role is crucial for driving improvements in asset performance and cost reduction, ensuring compliance with sustainability standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
  • At least fifteen (15) years of process engineering, scientific/technical experience, or operations.
  • Technical experience in both mill and staff environments.
  • Direct experience with Personal Care manufacturing technologies/AFC business platforms strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to establish strong, effective cross-functional networks at the enterprise level.
  • Subject matter expertise in Personal Care operation and optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach SME and SMS personnel.
  • Strong fundamentals in engineering systems and tools to drive technical innovation.
  • Ability to lead and direct a technical team and projects to meet business objectives.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&E, Supply Chain, and mill operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage strong fundamentals in engineering systems and tools for technical innovation.
  • Strong LEAN/problem solving/technical documentation skills.
  • Process validation working knowledge.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with process engineering data analytical software (Excel, PI, Plant Applications, MIDAS, SEEQ, JMP).
  • Technical understanding of manufacturing systems, materials, product, and competitive process knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing and converting activities across all Adult & Feminine Care products.
  • Drive the development and execution of OEE plans for assets and coordinate targeted onsite action plans.
  • Provide hands-on assistance to onsite teams and maintain a significant presence at AFC mills.
  • Support and implement strategy deployment for capacity and capability liberation in line with AFC OEE Strategy and Cost Transformation requirements.
  • Collaborate with mill teams to set annual Glidepaths for the AFC Portfolio and support changes in Glidepath development.
  • Pull production data for various stakeholders including Platform Leads and Sector Modelling.
  • Provide technical leadership for sector-wide initiatives aimed at improving Supply Chain OEE.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including R&E, Global Value Stream, Supply Chain, and external service providers.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor team members to enhance technical understanding and execution capabilities.
  • Assist with scheduling and planning team member travel schedules and coordinate with mills and staff as needed.
  • Implement documentation and reporting of unit work as per KC policy and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Provide leadership in corporate safety, quality, regulatory, product safety, and sustainability.
