About the position

The Technical Product Owner will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and the development team. This position is based in either Sacramento, CA or Dallas, TX, and operates in a hybrid work environment. The primary responsibility of the Technical Product Owner is to schedule and facilitate Agile ceremonies, ensuring that all team members are aligned and that the project progresses smoothly. The role requires gathering and prioritizing requirements from various stakeholders, advocating for business users, and effectively communicating these requirements to developers through user stories and functional requirements documents. In this fast-paced environment, the Technical Product Owner will collaborate with members of different feature teams, ensuring that all aspects of the product development process are well-coordinated. The individual will work closely with the development team to define and implement the product roadmap, create user stories, and establish acceptance criteria. Staying updated on the latest technical trends and technologies is essential, as is tracking the progress of the product and making necessary adjustments based on stakeholder feedback and project status. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with T-SQL and data analysis, as well as expertise in data and document integration. Familiarity with Azure DevOps for backlog management is also required. Experience in journey mapping and medical billing is considered a significant advantage, as it will enhance the ability to understand and meet the needs of the business users effectively.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Solid experience with T-SQL and data analysis.
  • Experience with data and document integration.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps backlog management.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in journey mapping and medical billing is a huge plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Agile methodologies (1 year preferred).
  • Ability to commute to Addison, TX 75001 (preferred).
  • Willingness to relocate to Addison, TX 75001 before starting work (required).
