Technical Product Owner

Responsibilities

• Manage technical projects from inception through delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives
• Serve as Product Owner for technology teams, defining product backlogs, managing sprint cycles, and delivering incremental value for websites and mobile apps
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, including co-brand partnerships, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of technical solutions
• Oversee operational stability through coordination of production support for websites and mobile applications, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime
• Work extensively with Amazon Redshift databases, managing data requirements and reporting processes
• Use SQL to query and analyze data, supporting data-driven decision-making
• Utilize Jira to effectively plan, track, and report project progress, risks, and issues

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 6+ years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, Technical Project Manager, or similar role within financial services or fintech
• Demonstrated experience managing credit card-related technology projects or systems is highly desirable
• Strong experience with Amazon Redshift databases, SQL, data analytics, and ETL processes
• Solid understanding of production website support, technical operations management, and mobile app product lifecycle
• Proven ability to manage partnership-driven projects, ideally with experience in co-brand financial products
• Proficiency with Jira and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including with executive-level leadership and external partners
• Proactive and self-driven with an ability to work autonomously and collaboratively

Nice-to-haves

• Credit card industry experience
• Certifications such as PMP, CSM, CSPO, or related Agile certifications
• Experience in fintech innovation and digital transformation initiatives
