About the position

The position is part of Visa's Center of Excellence (COE) team in Commercial and Money Movement Solutions, focusing on operational excellence and cybersecurity for CMS applications. The role involves data analysis, visualization, and metric development to support governance and enhance developer experience. The candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and improve processes and product offerings.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced SQL and scripting skills to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
• Create and manage insightful and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Tableau, PowerBI, and other data visualization tools.
• Develop and monitor DORA, SPACE, Flow, and other developer productivity metrics to provide actionable insights.
• Ensure accurate Application Service data is recorded, including criticality, accessibility, and data privacy governance.
• Support the management of multiple projects aligned with the organization's key results and objectives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and senior management, to understand data needs and deliver meaningful conclusions.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management, translating complex data into clear and actionable insights.
• Monitor OKR progress, develop and maintain detailed reports and metrics, and provide management updates.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices to continuously improve data analysis, reporting processes, and product offerings.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.
• Proficiency in SQL and strong scripting skills (Python, R, or similar).
• Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
• Advanced skills in Excel.
• Experience or knowledge in DORA, SPACE, Flow, and other developer productivity metrics.
• Familiarity with Generative AI technologies.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL practices is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Nice-to-haves

• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.
