About the position

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects that enhance the production network. Your role involves collaborating with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, and communicate effectively across various teams. You will leverage your technical expertise in software development and databases to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize network reliability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners to streamline how deployment processes are built, maintained, and transformed over time.
• Communicate health, status, and actions to stakeholders including management and partner organizations.
• Identify and assess continuous improvement opportunities through qualitative feedback from SMEs, and process data to drive informed decision-making.
• Conduct technical process definition and analysis sessions with business subject matter experts (SMEs).
• Determine how and where new tooling should be applied in existing workflows and work through the business logic (inputs/outputs).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• Experience in software development.
• Experience with databases, programming/scripting, and SQL.

Nice-to-haves

• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience in vendor management in the telecommunications/network industry.
• Experience with network planning and engineering.
• Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders across different functions and geographies to manage change and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
