About the position

The Technical Project Manager for Data Management will lead strategic projects aimed at optimizing efficiencies across various departments within a leading energy company. This role involves managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors. The ideal candidate will utilize Agile methodologies to drive project success and tackle complex challenges in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage strategic Data Management projects to enhance operational efficiencies within the Technology, Measurement, and Customer Engagement teams.
• Identify, mitigate, and resolve project issues and risks, escalating when necessary to ensure timely delivery.
• Facilitate daily scrums, status meetings, and discussions with external vendors, project teams, and leadership to remove roadblocks and address changes in scope, schedule, or budget.
• Manage projects using Agile methodologies; ensure milestones and deliverables are met and the project stays on track.
• Work closely with the Data Management Line Lead to align on project timelines, resource needs, and deliverables.
• Document and communicate project status, timelines, and any changes to leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment across teams.
• Collaborate with Data Management Architects and project members to ensure sustainable and best-practice technical solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing large-scale projects, ideally in the energy sector.
• 4+ years of experience working with Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience as a Scrum Master.
• Strong understanding of SQL is a plus.
• Ability to align technical solutions with business requirements.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Outstanding communication and meeting facilitation skills.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset to drive projects forward and remove obstacles.
