About the position

The Technical Project Manager will oversee web and mobile technology projects, ensuring successful execution through effective project management methodologies. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to lead teams while collaborating with various stakeholders to meet project goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute technical projects in web and mobile technology.
• Utilize Agile methodologies, specifically the Scrum framework, to drive project success.
• Conduct gap analysis and needs assessments to identify business requirements.
• Proactively identify potential blockers and gaps, working with teams and clients to mitigate productivity loss.
• Use project management tools like JIRA or ADO to track project progress and manage tasks.
• Generate data-centric metrics, reports, and dashboards to communicate project status.
• Lead technical teams by providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Align technical architects, product owners, and other stakeholders with project needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors to resolve dependencies and blockers.
• Facilitate and motivate teams for small to medium IT projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in technical project management or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
• Experience executing projects using Agile methodology and Scrum framework.
• Technical background with hands-on experience in web and/or mobile development technologies such as Java, React, Node.js, Angular, HTML/CSS3, SQL, or similar query languages.
• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and source code repositories.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to adjust plans as project requirements change.

Nice-to-haves

• PMP, SAFe, CSM, or similar project management certification.
