About the position

Foxcove is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to provide strategic leadership for a wide range of client IT projects. This role is crucial in overseeing project development and implementation, ensuring that all activities align with company methodologies and standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in information technology and project management, enabling them to exercise independent judgment while managing complex, long-range IT projects. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for defining project scope, priorities, deadlines, and deliverable schedules, facilitating discussions among project stakeholders, including engineers, architects, and clients, and leading client meetings to discuss project goals and progress. In this role, the Technical Project Manager will manage and monitor project budgets and costs, coordinate project team members, and develop schedules. They will utilize project management tools to track performance, conduct risk assessments, and identify new opportunities to enhance clients' IT infrastructure. Additionally, the Technical Project Manager will contribute to new Foxcove initiatives and product service offerings, ensuring that the company continues to provide tailored IT solutions that meet the specific needs of its clients. This position is primarily remote, with travel expectations for client meetings and occasional in-person interactions with Executive Leadership in Portland, Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex, long-range IT projects
• Define project scope, priorities, deadlines, and deliverable schedules

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager
• Educational background in engineering, computer science, or information technology
• Willingness and ability to travel for client meetings and internal gatherings
• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus
• Proficiency with project management tools like Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
• In-depth knowledge of various operating systems, network administration, and service desk administration
• Strong understanding of cloud computing services (AWS, GCP, Azure), core cloud services (Google Workspace, Office 365, Okta), and MDM products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional organization and time management skills
