Technical Project Manager

The Technical Project Manager (TPM) will lead and oversee the full lifecycle of engineering projects for Glean's largest enterprise and strategic accounts. This role involves close collaboration with engineering teams and cross-functional partners to ensure successful project delivery from requirement collection to customer delivery. The TPM will have the opportunity to grow Glean’s TPM function as the company scales its Enterprise AI offerings.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-disciplinary technical projects from start to finish.
• Manage end-to-end project management for multiple assigned projects, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery with transparency to stakeholders.
• Establish strong relationships with key cross-functional stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for project-related communication.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear project requirements and objectives.
• Work closely with engineers, customer success, and product teams to drive software development and manage technical dependencies.
• Coordinate project resources and timelines, including cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, and internal experts.
• Proactively identify project risks, resourcing gaps, and timeline issues, executing mitigation and escalation flows to ensure project success.
• Implement and improve testing and quality deployment procedures to guarantee the reliability and functionality of deployed solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change logs.
• Establish and manage project key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure end-to-end delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or PMP certification preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in a program or project management role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects with an emphasis on large-scale, enterprise cloud deployments.
• Strong understanding of cloud software architecture, deployment, and security best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software tools and methodologies.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
