About the position

Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for technology and a knack for leading complex implementations? Do you thrive in the dynamic world of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems? If so, then we want you on our team! We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Project Manager to join our IT department and spearhead the successful implementation and ongoing optimization of our ERP system. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in project management and ERP systems to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure the smooth transition to a new or upgraded ERP platform, such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics 365. In this position, you will collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to define business requirements and translate them into a comprehensive project plan for the ERP implementation. You will manage the entire project lifecycle, including scope definition, budget control, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and communication. Leading and motivating cross-functional teams of developers, business analysts, and end-users throughout the implementation process will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will conduct thorough system testing and ensure seamless data migration from legacy systems to the new ERP platform, partnering with vendors and consultants to ensure successful project execution. Monitoring project progress, identifying and addressing potential roadblocks, and implementing corrective actions as needed will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will provide ongoing support and training to end-users after the ERP system is deployed, while staying up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in ERP implementations.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, preferably with a focus on ERP implementations.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects on time and within budget.
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP systems and their functionalities (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with data migration tools and methodologies.
  • Project management certifications such as PMP, CSM, CSPO, SAFe Agilist, etc.
