About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Recruiter/ HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This role is integral to both recruiting top-tier talent and managing HR functions. The ideal candidate will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization while also possessing strong HR skills to support employee relations, compliance, and organizational development. This role will report to the Sr. Director of HR and will have two main areas of focus. The Technical recruiter function will take upwards of 50% of the workload with the remaining time dedicated to the HR generalist duties.

Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of technical roles across the organization.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, manage candidate communications, and facilitate the offer and onboarding processes.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements, create job descriptions, and determine appropriate recruitment channels.
  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics to improve hiring processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensure a positive candidate and employee experience by fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Provide interview training to hiring teams on best practices.
  • Participate in job fairs and events related to recruiting.
  • Support HR functions including employee relations, performance management, and policy implementation.
  • Assist with new employee first day onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Administer employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and workplace issues while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies by maintaining accurate records and providing guidance to managers and employees.
  • Assist in developing and implementing training programs to support employee development and organizational goals.
  • Monitor and maintain HRIS data for accuracy and generate HR reports and metrics that support decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement HR initiatives that support business objectives and enhance employee engagement.
  • Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations, and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contribute to the development of policies.
  • Perform additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as required to support the success and goals of the team and organization.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition and HR functions or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field a plus.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) a plus.
  • Strong experience in the full life cycle process with demonstrated knowledge of the latest sourcing techniques.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of HR federal laws and regulations.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and HR software and ADP preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with HR analytics and data-driven decision-making.
