About the position

The Technical Sales / Account Manager position at RPMC Lasers Inc. focuses on promoting and selling laser products, particularly laser diodes and modules, to key markets such as military, research, and industrial applications. The role involves building relationships with customers, providing application support, and managing key accounts to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Present and promote RPMC Lasers Inc. products to existing and prospective customers.
  • Provide appropriate solutions and services using solid arguments and supporting materials.
  • Create one-to-one relationships with customers to understand their needs and propose relevant products and services.
  • Qualify leads generated from the Marketing department and determine necessary actions.
  • Maintain diligent records of leads, communications, opportunities, closed sales, and customer interactions.
  • Achieve sales targets and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Technical sales experience in the optoelectronics industry.
  • Good working knowledge of laser diodes, diode pumped lasers, and laser applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-oriented skills.
  • Motivated self-starter who is goal-oriented.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in laser sales (1 year preferred).
  • Willingness to travel 10-25% of the time.
  • Strong general background in laser concepts and applications.
