Halex, a leader in conduit fittings and accessories, is seeking a Technical Sales Manager for the OEM business across the United States. This role is pivotal in managing Halex's OEM products and distribution channels, including partnerships with major retailers like McMaster-Carr and Grainger. The Technical Sales Manager will report directly to the Director of Sales and will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to achieve annual sales goals within assigned accounts. This position requires a proactive approach to managing customer relationships at all levels, including Buying, Replenishment, Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations. The successful candidate will be expected to travel approximately 25-40% of the time to meet with customers and facilities within their territory. They will develop a comprehensive sales plan aimed at growing the OEM business, leveraging both new and existing customer relationships. The role also involves creating sales promotions and pricing strategies informed by market intelligence, as well as maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities. In addition to managing customer relationships, the Technical Sales Manager will provide valuable feedback from the field regarding market trends, customer needs, and competitive products. This feedback will be crucial in guiding Halex's product development and pricing strategies to ensure they remain competitive in the marketplace. The candidate must adhere to all Halex and Marmon policies and procedures while effectively communicating with various departments within the company.
