About the position

The Technical Sales Manager, OEM at Ontic is responsible for maximizing the value of product lines by engaging with customers to capture orders, improve profitability, reduce inventory, and enhance the customer experience. This role involves creating and leading sales campaigns, educating customers and distributors about the product portfolio, and negotiating proposals. The position requires a strong understanding of the aerospace industry and the ability to work independently while managing sales pipelines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maximize the value of all product lines by engaging with customers to capture orders.
• Create and lead sales campaigns to expand customer knowledge.
• Negotiate proposals and manage daily customer quotations and orders.
• Utilize CRM to track and manage sales pipeline and opportunities.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with distributors to drive sales.
• Collate In-Service Fleet Intelligence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the Aerospace Industry.
• Extensive knowledge of the Aerospace Industry.
• Knowledge and experience negotiating commercial contracts.
• Experience with government FAR/DFARS preferred.
• Ability to write reports, proposals, and business correspondence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM Dynamics.
