About the position

The Technical Sales Training Program at Trane Technologies is designed for recent graduates to develop into future leaders within the company. This 5-month program provides comprehensive training in technical sales, business, and leadership, preparing participants for the role of Associate Account Manager. The program emphasizes building relationships with commercial customers and selling climate solutions to promote sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Sell efficient HVAC equipment and building management controls to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners/developers in the design and application of systems, controls, parts, and services.
  • Grow and maintain relationships with customers by addressing their challenges and providing solutions.

Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or Engineering (preferred).
  • Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
  • Possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months with a clean driving record.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales or customer service roles.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and building automation.
