The Technical Services Student Assistant position at the University of North Dakota offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in a library setting. In this position, the student assistant will be responsible for various tasks related to records management, including creating and updating information in the library's system and maintaining Excel spreadsheets. The role also involves creating and affixing spine labels, attaching property information to library materials, and searching for electronic journals. Additionally, the student will be tasked with locating and pulling materials from the shelves, as well as performing assorted other tasks to prepare materials for use. This position is an excellent opportunity for students to learn about library operations and develop their organizational skills in a supportive environment.
