About the position

Forefront Emergency Management is seeking to join our team as a Compliance Consultant/Technical Writer with a heavy focus on technical writing. In this role, you will provide services to various clients primarily in the areas of oil and gas production facilities, both onshore and offshore, as well as the pipelines and transportation industry, which includes highways, rail, and waterways. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients in navigating the complex regulatory landscape that governs these industries. This includes providing compliance assistance regarding regulations required by the United States Coast Guard, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the Department of Transportation, and Gulf Coast State regulatory agencies on various regulatory and compliance issues. Your duties will encompass generating response and contingency plans, creating operations manuals, assisting with permitting, and providing general compliance consultation. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the field of environmental consulting. While related experience and training are beneficial, the company is willing to provide on-the-job training for the right candidate.
