About the position
SAIC is seeking a Technical Writer to support the Thermal Monitoring Surveillance System for the U.S. Navy in Crane, IN.
Responsibilities
- Writing, updating and maintaining engineering, testing, cybersecurity, and other programmatic documents.
- Drafting user-friendly content that meets the needs of the intended audience.
- Maintaining records of those documents in the Configuration Management database tool.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and zero (0) years' experience; Four (4) years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
- Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship required.
- Write and edit technical and complex ideas and procedures.
- Work with subject matter experts, observing functional tasks to determine process steps.
- Possess working knowledge of current MIL-STD regulations for document formatting and grammatical conventions.
- Skilled knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
