About the position

The internship role is intended for current students (BS/MS/PhD) who are enrolled in a full-time degree program after completion of the internship. The available internship dates are from May 19 - August 8, 2025, and June 16 - September 5, 2025. The work location is in the San Francisco Bay Area (Redwood Shores, CA) or Seattle, WA. The program aims to hire world-class, early career talent to power next-generation services and solutions, enhancing the overall learning experience and building a professional network.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively within the Database Technologies organization.
  • Create technical content, demos/apps, videos, and blogs.
  • Share content on websites, social channels, and at developer conferences.
  • Encourage the use of Database products by developers.
  • Sponsor developer conferences and virtual events.
  • Partner with universities and coding bootcamps.
  • Manage websites, authority pages, and SEO for Database.

Requirements

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A passion for technology and learning software products.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn from and teach others.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Working knowledge of common technologies such as relational databases, Java, and frameworks such as React.
  • Familiarity with open-source technologies.
  • Experience with SQL or Oracle Database preferred.
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Business, English, Technical Writing, Rhetoric and Professional Writing or equivalent major, completing sophomore or junior year by summer 2025.
  • Must be returning to the degree program after completion of the internship.
  • Attend a university in the US.
  • Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2025.
