This position is remote and offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced government contractor environment. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional capable of producing a wide range of documentation, both technical and strategic, tailored for various audiences. The Technical Writer will play a crucial role in supporting our Cybersecurity products, processes, controls, and services by creating high-quality documentation that is both informative and visually appealing. In this role, the Technical Writer will collaborate closely with Cybersecurity personnel to provide documentation guidance and support. Responsibilities will include creating technical architecture documents, maintaining document templates for consistency, proofreading and editing content, and establishing document repositories. The candidate will gather information through interviews with subject matter experts and stakeholders, translating complex information into clear and concise documents. The position requires a strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with others. The Technical Writer will be responsible for ensuring that all security document versions and releases are completed on time and meet high-quality standards. The role demands a solid understanding of documentation tools and technologies, as well as the ability to quickly learn new technologies. The candidate should also have experience in writing executive-level communications and editing technical documents for clarity and readability. A U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret Security Clearance is required for this position.
