About the position

The Technical Writer Tradecraft Compliance position at Tyto Athene involves evaluating intelligence production for compliance with established Intelligence Community Directives. The role requires a blend of technical writing skills, analytical capabilities, and effective communication to ensure adherence to specific writing and style guides used by various national intelligence agencies. The position is based at Wright Patterson AFB and does not offer telework options.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate intelligence production from the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) for compliance with Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) 203-209.
• Review documents for adherence to specific writing and style guides used by the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), NSIC, and other national intelligence agencies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, or Intelligence.
• Deep understanding and practical application of Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) 203-209.
• Familiarity with specific writing and style guides used by NASIC, NSIC, and other national intelligence agencies.
• Sharp analytical capabilities to evaluate intelligence production for compliance with standards.
• Proficient communication skills to effectively review and communicate adherence to standards and guidelines.
• Efficiency in task management, capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team.
