About the position

In this role, we need someone dedicated to leading this process end-to-end from content to API references to branding and look and feel. Duties will include migrating our customer’s documentation from other platforms (such as Readme, Docusaurus, Gitbook) to Mintlify, managing the current Mintlify documentation, creating showcases of a customer’s current docs on Mintlify, and consulting with our customers in their documentation strategy.

Responsibilities

• Migrating customer documentation from other platforms to Mintlify
• Managing the current Mintlify documentation
• Creating showcases of a customer’s current docs on Mintlify
• Consulting with customers on their documentation strategy

Requirements

• Expertise in Git editing workflow and docs-as-code
• Familiarity with MDX (Markdown)
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clarify technical concepts
• Understanding of technical writing best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and adaptable to new technologies

Nice-to-haves

• Javascript, CSS, HTML
• Previous technical writing experience at a company or agency
• Familiarity with existing documentation toolsets and platforms
• Familiarity with SDK documentation
• Familiarity with API references
