This position involves outdoor work in diverse weather conditions, requiring physical stamina and adaptability. The Automation Technician will be tasked with installing a variety of sensors and electrical equipment, ensuring that all automation equipment is functioning correctly, and maintaining effective communication with onsite customer representatives and coworkers. Strong teamwork and planning skills are essential, particularly in relation to current and future oil and gas operations. The role also necessitates proficiency in using computers for reporting and creating virtual automation sites, as well as the ability to communicate effectively using signals, radios, and telephones. Additionally, the technician will be responsible for operating hand and power tools, driving vehicles to transport equipment and personnel, and completing required training for safety and compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations.
