The overall objective of the department in which this position works is to be a lean, high performance, customer-driven department comprised of people of the highest integrity and quality. The major function of this position is the daily repair of returned sunglasses and to answer incoming telephone inquiries from our customers in a timely, courteous, and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

  • Complete Canadian sunglass repairs in accordance with Maui Jim standards.
  • Receive, inspect, and analyze returned product to determine which goods meet with warranty and non-warranty criteria.
  • Interact with customers via phone and Zendesk to retrieve payment authorization and discuss warranty assessments.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all customers. Assist with customer inquiries.
  • Code and invoice all repair parts and charges accurately into the SAP computer system.
  • Perform all other work-related duties as requested or required.

Requirements

  • High school graduate with 1-3 years customer service experience. Technical or repair background.
  • In lieu of education, 4-5 years customer service experience is preferred.
