About the position

Triage Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel job in Raleigh, North Carolina. This position is designed for Allied Health Professionals specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures. The role is set to start as soon as possible and will last for a duration of 13 weeks, with a commitment of 36 hours per week. The shifts will be 12 hours long, specifically during the day from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. This travel nursing position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while providing essential care in cardiovascular surgeries. Responsibilities

  • Provide support in the cardiovascular operating room during surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff in the preparation and execution of cardiovascular surgeries.
  • Monitor patient vitals and ensure a sterile environment during operations.
  • Maintain and operate medical equipment used in cardiovascular procedures.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a CVOR Technologist or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to a travel schedule.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with medical teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Additional certifications in related fields such as ACLS or BLS.
  • Familiarity with various surgical instruments and equipment used in cardiovascular procedures.
