About the position

Triage Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilled travel Cath Lab Technologist for a position in Hanford, California. This role is essential for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for assisting in various procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients, and maintaining the equipment used in the cath lab. The position requires a commitment to excellence and the ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and a passion for patient care, as well as the ability to adapt to different clinical settings and protocols. The Cath Lab Technologist will work a 10-hour night shift, totaling 40 hours per week, for a duration of 13 weeks. The start date for this position is ASAP, with a specific focus on providing exceptional care during imaging procedures. The role involves not only technical skills but also the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families, ensuring they understand the procedures being performed and addressing any concerns they may have. The Cath Lab Technologist will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Assist in various catheterization procedures and imaging techniques.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Maintain and operate cath lab equipment effectively.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to optimize patient care.
  • Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding procedures.

Requirements

  • Valid certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent.
  • Experience in a Cath Lab setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of radiology and imaging techniques.
  • Ability to work night shifts and adapt to varying schedules.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with advanced imaging technologies.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Bilingual skills may be beneficial.
