About the position

PRIDE Health is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Rochester, New York. This position is designed for an Allied Health Professional specializing in Cath Lab technology. The role is set to commence on September 9, 2024, and will last for a duration of 13 weeks, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The work schedule consists of 10-hour shifts during the day, providing a structured yet flexible work environment. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Assist physicians during catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and provide necessary care during procedures.
• Maintain and operate Cath Lab equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
• Document patient information and procedure details accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Cath Lab Technologist.
• Experience in a Cath Lab setting is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a healthcare setting.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous travel experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Advanced certifications in Cath Lab technology.
