About the position

Aequor Allied is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated travel Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for an exciting opportunity in Marysville, California. This position is designed for professionals who are looking to expand their experience in a dynamic environment while providing essential services in the cardiac catheterization lab. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a crucial role in assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of care throughout the process. In this travel role, you will be expected to work 40 hours per week, with shifts lasting 8 hours each. The position is set to begin on August 12, 2024, and will last for a duration of 13 weeks. You will be part of a dedicated team that values collaboration and excellence in patient care. Your expertise will be vital in supporting the medical staff and ensuring that all procedures are conducted efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities

  • Assist in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to provide optimal patient care.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures and patient information.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a Cath Lab setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with advanced imaging technologies in the Cath Lab.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications are a plus.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
