About the position

Aequor Allied is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated travel Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for an exciting opportunity in Peoria, Illinois. This position is designed for professionals who are looking to expand their experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a crucial role in assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization lab. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing these procedures, as well as in maintaining the high standards of care expected in a healthcare setting. In this travel role, you will be expected to work 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week, over a duration of 13 weeks. This position offers a unique opportunity to experience different healthcare settings while providing critical support to patients and medical staff. You will collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care, utilizing advanced imaging technology and techniques. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring that all necessary supplies and equipment are available and functioning properly. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Valid certification as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Experience in a catheterization lab setting.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to a travel schedule.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of imaging technology and safety protocols.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous travel experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Advanced certifications in radiology or related fields.
