About the position

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Baltimore, Maryland. This position is designed for a dedicated professional who is ready to take on a 13-week assignment in a short-term acute care hospital setting. The role involves working 8-hour shifts during the day, where the technologist will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating patients before, during, and after procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience with the Epic charting system, specifically Epic Systems Corporation - ClinDoc and MyChart, as these will be the primary systems used for patient documentation. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be expected to maintain the cleanliness of the procedure rooms and ensure that there is an adequate stock of supplies available at all times. The position requires physical stamina, as you will need to remain in a stationary position, move about, and handle equipment weighing between 50-100 lbs. This includes pushing, pulling, and bending as necessary to assist with procedures and operate department equipment. You will also need to demonstrate strong technical and motor skills, including the ability to grasp and perform fine manipulations. Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist in a short-term acute care hospital setting.
  • Familiarity with Epic charting system, specifically Epic Systems Corporation - ClinDoc and MyChart.
  • Ability to work under close supervision and independently as needed.
  • Strong technical and motor skills, including fine manipulation and grasping.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with catheterization laboratory procedures.
  • Previous travel experience in a medical setting.
