The Cath Lab Technologist will work an 8-hour shift during the day, providing essential support to the medical team and ensuring that all protocols are followed for patient safety and care. Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for catheterization procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the medical team during procedures.
  • Assist physicians during catheterization procedures, ensuring all equipment is ready and functioning properly.
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all safety protocols in the catheterization lab.
  • Document patient information and procedure details accurately in the medical records.

Requirements

  • Current RCIS or ARRT certification required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with pediatric patients is a plus.
  • Familiarity with advanced imaging technologies used in catheterization procedures.
