Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) technologist services during surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff in the operating room by preparing instruments and equipment.
  • Ensure the operating room is sterile and organized before, during, and after procedures.
  • Monitor patient vitals and assist in maintaining patient safety during surgeries.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and patient care.
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations in the operating room.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a CVOR Technologist or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CVOR setting.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with travel assignments in healthcare settings.
  • Additional certifications in related fields such as ACLS or BLS.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
