About the position

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Los Angeles, California. This position is designed for a 13-week assignment at a short-term acute care hospital, where the selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating patients before, during, and after catheterization procedures. The role requires the ability to remain in a stationary position, move about, and handle equipment weighing between 50-100 lbs, which includes pushing, pulling, and bending. The Cath Lab Technologist will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the procedure rooms and ensuring that there is an adequate stock of supplies available for use. The position involves working under close supervision at times, as well as independently when required. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and motor skills, including the ability to grasp and manipulate equipment effectively, and will need to have good visual acuity and communication skills to interact with patients and team members effectively. Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after catheterization procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of procedure rooms and ensure adequate stock of supplies.
  • Handle and move equipment weighing between 50-100 lbs, including pushing, pulling, and bending as necessary.
  • Work under close supervision and independently when required.
  • Utilize technical and motor skills for effective patient care and equipment handling.

Requirements

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position and move about as needed.
  • Technical skills for grasping, fine manipulation, and operating department equipment.
  • Visual acuity and effective communication skills.
