About the position

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Baltimore, Maryland. This position is designed for a dedicated professional who is ready to take on a 13-week assignment in a short-term acute care hospital. The start date for this role is ASAP, and the shift will be 12 hours during the day. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process. You will also maintain the cleanliness of the rooms and ensure that there is an adequate stock of supplies available for procedures. In this role, you will be required to remain in a stationary position, move about the facility, and handle equipment weighing between 50-100 lbs. This includes pushing, pulling, and bending as necessary. The position demands strong technical and motor skills, including the ability to grasp and perform fine manipulations, as well as the capability to assist with procedures and operate department equipment. You will work under close supervision at times, but also be expected to work independently when required. Sensory skills such as visual acuity and effective communication are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Valid licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Experience in a catheterization laboratory setting.

  • Strong technical and motor skills, including fine manipulation and grasping.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with various charting systems such as Oracle Cerner and Health Recovery Solutions.
  • Previous travel experience in a medical setting.
