PRN Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Portland, Oregon. This position involves working 8-hour shifts during the day, with the employment type classified as travel. The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, subject to confirmation, and includes a tax-free stipend amount that will be determined. As a travel Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the catheterization lab, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. This role requires flexibility and adaptability, as you will be working in various healthcare settings and may need to adjust to different protocols and equipment used at each facility. Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the catheterization lab.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.

  • Adapt to different protocols and equipment used at various healthcare facilities.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Experience in a catheterization lab setting.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous travel experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Experience with advanced imaging technologies.
