About the position

PHP is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Atlanta, Georgia. This position is designed for Allied Health Professionals specializing in Cath Lab technology. The role is expected to start as soon as possible and will last for a duration of 13 weeks. The Cath Lab Technologist will work 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled for 8 hours during the day. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Cath Lab setting.
• Assist physicians during catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and comfort levels during procedures.
• Maintain and operate Cath Lab equipment and ensure it is functioning properly.
• Document patient information and procedures accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with advanced imaging technologies in the Cath Lab.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Previous travel experience in a healthcare setting.
