About the position

Triage Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a position in Mount Vernon, Washington. This role is designed for Allied Health Professionals specializing in Cath Lab technology. The position is set to start on August 19, 2024, and will last for a duration of 13 weeks, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. The work schedule consists of 8-hour shifts during the night, specifically from 12:00 AM to 12:00 PM. As a travel position, this role offers the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings while providing essential services in the Cath Lab environment. Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Cath Lab setting.
  • Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Cath Lab.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of Cath Lab equipment and report any malfunctions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation during procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures in the Cath Lab.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with advanced imaging technologies in the Cath Lab.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
