About the position

Triage Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilled travel Cath Lab Technologist for a position in Portland, Oregon. This role is essential for providing high-quality patient care in the Cath Lab, where you will be responsible for assisting in various procedures and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during their stay. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and imaging, particularly in the Cath Lab environment, and will be expected to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care. The position is a travel assignment, which means you will have the opportunity to explore new locations while advancing your career in a dynamic healthcare setting. The Cath Lab Technologist will be required to work 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled for 8 hours during the night. The start date for this position is ASAP, and the assignment is expected to last for 13 weeks. As a travel position, you will be provided with comprehensive support from Triage Staffing, including a reliable recruiter who will assist you throughout your assignment. Responsibilities

  • Assist in various procedures within the Cath Lab.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment as required.
  • Document patient information and procedures accurately.

Requirements

  • Valid Cath Lab Technologist certification.
  • Experience in a Cath Lab setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of radiology and imaging techniques.
  • Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a travel schedule.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous travel experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Advanced certifications in radiology or related fields.
