About the position

Triage Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel job in Falls Church, Virginia. This position is designed for an Allied Health Professional specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures. The role is set to start as soon as possible and will last for a duration of 13 weeks, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The shifts are 10 hours long, primarily during the night, with variable hours from 12:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This travel nursing position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while providing essential care in cardiovascular surgeries. Responsibilities

  • Provide support in the cardiovascular operating room during surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff in the preparation and execution of CVOR procedures.
  • Monitor patient vitals and ensure a sterile environment during surgeries.
  • Maintain and operate medical equipment used in cardiovascular surgeries.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Valid CVOR Technologist certification and relevant experience in the cardiovascular operating room setting.
  • Ability to work night shifts and adapt to variable hours as required by the facility.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with medical staff and patients.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining medical equipment used in cardiovascular procedures.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with travel nursing assignments in a CVOR setting.
  • Additional certifications in advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) or basic life support (BLS).
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
