Responsibilities

  • Perform computed tomography (CT) scans on patients as per physician orders.
  • Ensure high-quality imaging while adhering to safety protocols and standards.
  • Maintain and operate CT equipment, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
  • Document patient information and imaging results accurately in the system.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures during the travel assignment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Current certification in CT technology and relevant state licensure.
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a travel healthcare role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
