About the position

The Tele Sales Representative role at PrideStaff involves engaging with customers primarily through phone calls to promote and sell residential services. Representatives are responsible for managing the entire sales process, meeting specific sales quotas, and performing administrative tasks related to sales. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, as representatives may work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Call residential homes to promote, sell, and secure orders from prospective customers.
  • Communicate products and services to potential customers and assist them in selecting the best-suited service based on their needs.
  • Make an average of 19 calls per hour or have 45 minutes of total call time per hour.
  • Meet a quota of 25 sales per month for full-time reps and 18 sales per month for part-time reps.
  • Conduct outbound lead follow-up calls to potential customers via telephone and email to qualify leads.
  • Explain different customizable features of products and services to potential customers.
  • Develop clear and effective proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers over the phone.
  • Demonstrate the ability to carry on conversations with potential customers for residential services with decision-makers.
  • Process orders over the phone using a computer database.
  • Collect methods of payment over the phone.
  • Present solutions to residential customers to save money and provide accurate sales contract information.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities.

Requirements

  • Availability to work flexible schedules including any day of the week, with hours varying between 9:00 am-8:00 pm.
  • Ability to make an average of 19 calls per hour or have 45 minutes of total call time per hour.
  • Ability to meet sales quotas of 25 sales per month for full-time reps and 18 sales per month for part-time reps.
  • Strong communication skills to explain products and services to potential customers.
  • Proficiency in using computer databases for processing orders and maintaining records.
