A24 is seeking a Temporary Junior Publicist to join our Los Angeles Publicity team until March 2025. This person will be a motivated self-starter skilled in multitasking, communication, and organization with 3 - 5 years of professional experience in film and/or television PR at a major studio, streamer, network, or agency. This is a hybrid position and we are seeking a candidate who can work from A24's West Hollywood location. The Junior Publicist will provide support to the Senior Publicist in strategic and tactical campaign PR efforts across A24's film slate. The role involves managing select talent across all titles throughout campaigns and supervising coordinators in creating and distributing talent schedules, including arranging travel and accommodations and coordinating glam and styling. The Junior Publicist will work closely and maintain a strong relationship with talent representatives to ensure open communication and smooth campaigns. Additionally, the Junior Publicist will manage press day logistics with agencies to incorporate marketing, distribution, home entertainment, domestic and international needs and requests. They will coordinate, manage, and update agency documents for film projects with Publicity Coordinators, find new press opportunities, and continue to grow at crafting pitches and arranging for coverage across all titles. Maintaining and growing close working relationships with key media contacts across the evolving media landscape is also a critical part of this role. The Junior Publicist will work closely with the Publicity (domestic and international), Grassroots, and Events teams to ensure coordinated efforts for specialty projects that are additive to overall campaigns. They will manage and organize key press materials, with coordinators, for film projects including but not limited to One Pagers, Key Set Images, and Clips. Staffing of publicity-related events is also required, which includes covering talent at press and special screenings, press days/interviews, film festivals, and awards-related events, including after-hours and weekend events.
