About the position

The Temporary Technical Writer/Project Coordinator position at FamilySearch is designed to support the organization's mission of enabling inspiring journeys for its patrons. This is a 6-month temporary role focused on technical writing, where the selected candidate will create documents and presentations for senior managers overseeing the Near East and North African markets. The role involves writing various documents related to contract terms, business plans, project scopes, and processes, as well as collaborating with functional teams to gather and document information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, writing, or a related field.
  • Experience in writing contracts and documenting processes preferred.
  • Understanding of international cultures, specifically Near East or Asian cultures preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required.
  • Expert writing and communication skills required.
  • Ability to work in teams and present to mid-level managers and C-suite leaders.
  • Understanding of projects and project scheduling.
