About the position

The Temporary Web Developer I will manage and implement all phases of design, layout, site mapping, and coding for departmental webpages within the university's web environment. This role is essential for the success of a specific university technology project, requiring collaboration with programmers and adherence to federal compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and implement design, layout, and site mapping for departmental webpages.
  • Conduct digital migration of content and perform website testing.
  • Monitor content using Site Improve and ensure compliance with ADA regulations.
  • Collaborate with programmers and digital teams to implement technology projects.
  • Perform copywriting and editing as needed.

Requirements

  • Four years of experience in web development or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Drupal platform and multimedia management tools.
  • Experience with Adobe software and digital toolkits.
  • Ability to work in an academic setting and collaborate with teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in Figma for designing digital interfaces.
  • Experience with Plone CMS and university branding.
