About the position

As a Surface Experts Territory Manager, your job is to find and build relationships with customers who work in property management and facilities maintenance. Our services are unique, so it will be your job to educate and build trust with our customers. We are looking for someone who lives out our core values of Serving Others, Being a Problem Solver, and Trusting the Process. You will be responsible for on-site visits, phone calls, and email follow-ups in a variety of industries including Property Management, Hotels, Movers, Builders, etc. You will also maintain and expand existing customer relationships by educating them on Surface Experts capabilities and limitations, validating customer satisfaction, and earning their trust. Additionally, you will work within a local sales team, documenting sales activities in CRM, reporting accurately, and brainstorming to find new leads and opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Building relationships and communicating with customers daily
  • Conducting on-site visits, phone calls, and email follow-ups
  • Maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships
  • Educating customers on Surface Experts capabilities and limitations
  • Validating customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Earning trust with customers
  • Working within a local sales team and process
  • Documenting sales activities in CRM from lead to work order
  • Reporting accurately and weekly
  • Brainstorming to find new leads and opportunities

Requirements

  • Goal-oriented, self-starter, and energetic
  • Licensed to operate a passenger car and have a clean driving record
  • Professional, caring, and service-minded
  • Readiness to work with a metrics-based, process-driven sales team

Nice-to-haves

  • General working knowledge of property and/or construction industry
  • Experience using CRM tool and process
  • Experience working in a base + commission environment
