Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in component testing and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with the operation, testing, or production of high-pressure gas, cryogenic, actuated, or hydraulic systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid work ethic.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with both executive leadership and shop floor teams.
  • A production-oriented mindset, with a focus on scaling operations for high-rate manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple project schedules simultaneously.
  • Passion for spaceflight and exploration.
  • Ability to build trust, foster positive and professional relationships, and contribute to an inclusive workplace culture.

Nice-to-haves

  • Relevant industry experience in areas such as launch vehicles, satellites, aircraft, motorsports, or oil & gas.
  • Knowledge of fluid system components, including valves, regulators, actuators, servo-valves, and fittings.
  • Experience working with sensors and instrumentation, such as pressure transducers and accelerometers, as well as data acquisition and automation systems.
  • Familiarity with precision-clean hardware and systems.
  • Hands-on experience with thermal and vibration testing.
  • Experience designing and fabricating test fixtures and tooling.
