Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute tests to validate the functionality and performance of the PD Aerostats system, including the development of test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, logistics, and operations, to ensure that test requirements are met and that test results are properly documented and reported.
  • Conduct testing and evaluation of the PD Aerostats system, including functional, performance, and environmental testing, to ensure that the system meets the required specifications and standards.
  • Develop and maintain test scripts, test cases, and test data to support testing and evaluation of the PD Aerostats system.
  • Analyze test results and identify defects or issues, including developing and implementing corrective actions to resolve defects or issues.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test procedures, and test reports, to support test and evaluation activities.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to test team members, including training and mentoring on test procedures and methodologies.
  • Stay current with changes to test regulations, policies, and procedures, including updates to Army and DoD policies and procedures, to ensure that test activities are compliant and aligned with current requirements.
  • Develop and implement test process improvements, including identifying opportunities for cost savings, improving efficiency, and enhancing test effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other test engineers to develop and implement test strategies and plans that support program objectives and goals.
  • Participate in test working groups and meetings to discuss test results, test plans, and test procedures, and to provide input and feedback on test activities.
  • Develop and deliver test reports and briefings to senior leadership and other stakeholders, including providing expert testimony and advice on test matters.

Requirements

  • Five (5) or more years as a Test Engineer & working knowledge of DoDi 5000 & Defense Acquisition.
  • BA/BS or higher.
  • Shall have a top secret (TS) clearance with the ability to obtain sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
  • An additional 5 years experience in a related field may be substituted for education.
  • A Masters degree or higher may be substituted for 3 years of experience as long as their degree is in a related field.
