Test Fixture Electrical Design Engineer

Our growing Ann Arbor team needs an Electrical Design Engineer to assist in developing product equipment and test centers for the AI algorithms that power KLA's world-class capabilities. Responsibilities

• Configurate PC and Server hardware and software.
• Collaborate with the CEG Engineering and Manufacturing teams to define test fixture requirements.
• Design, integration, document, and test fixture assemblies, including electrical, optical, and mechanical systems including AC/DC power distribution.
• Work with vendors and internal teams to procure and release parts.
• Prototype, assemble, and test electrical and electro-optical assemblies.

Requirements

• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven knowledge of electrical engineering principles.
• Hands-on lab experience building electrical/optical/mechanical assemblies.
• Proficiency with soldering, hand tools, wiring, multimeter, oscilloscope, and lab test equipment.
• Self-sufficient with a proven record of organizing, designing, and delivering completed electrical/mechanical/optical assemblies.
• Ability to travel for training and to support development teams in different locations is required.
