About the position

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a legendary Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, ensuring the timely preparation and presentation of food products according to established recipes and procedures. This role emphasizes a passion for made-from-scratch food and involves managing kitchen staff, maintaining food safety standards, and controlling costs while fostering a fun and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food according to established recipes and procedures.
• Enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety in the restaurant.
• Monitoring and maintaining efficient food item ticket times.
• Managing performance of Back of House employees, including conducting evaluations and coaching.
• Assisting in the development of key employees and providing daily feedback on performance.
• Conducting formal line Taste & Temp checks for inventory and safety.
• Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of food items.
• Managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs.
• Setting hours and weekly schedules for Back of House employees and assigning tasks.
• Training Back of House employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures.
• Reviewing applications and interviewing Back of House employees.
• Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment consistent with core values.

Requirements

• Experience in restaurant management.
• Valid Driver's License.
