About the position

The Third Party - Privacy Risk Analyst role at Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is focused on assessing and managing privacy risks associated with third-party vendors. This position involves conducting risk assessments, collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance with privacy regulations, and implementing mitigating controls to protect consumer data. The role is hybrid, based in Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA, and offers long-term potential with a contract duration of 6 to 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments to ensure third-party vendors have adequate controls to protect consumer personal data.
• Partner with Third Party Risk Management and Business Units to execute privacy risk review processes.
• Attend Inherent Risk Assessment calls to represent Privacy and identify risks.
• Perform Privacy Impact Assessments by reviewing supplier questionnaires and artifacts.
• Partner with Governance Partners to escalate compliance issues and determine risk mitigation approaches.
• Monitor the ECRS Privacy Third Party Review team mailbox and respond to submissions.
• Update the ECRS tracker as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in third-party risk management and privacy regulations.
• Experience as a business analyst or in a related role.
• Experience working with third-party vendors or managing third-party relationships.
• Ability to recommend mitigating controls for third-party relationships.
• Experience in creating metrics to monitor recommendations' success.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in work.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of privacy regulations such as GLBA, CCPA, CPRA, TCPA.
• Experience with Archer application and Microsoft Office tools.
